Nigel Carter & Co, was established in 1983. It is an independent professional practice providing advice in the fields of Surveying and Town Planning. The firm provides a wide range of services from survey, valuation, lease extension and freehold enfranchisement, to Town Planning, expert witness and Party Wall matters. Nigel Carter is the Principal of the firm. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1968 and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1988. Having been awarded a Post-graduate Diploma from the then Polytechnic of Central London, he qualified as a Chartered Town Planner in 1973. He also holds accreditation in survey and valuation work from the Surveyors & Valuers' Accreditation body, SAVA, and is a member of the Independent Surveyors' Association.

The practice offers a personal, one-to-one service and places the greatest importance on maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.
